He wanted to thank the LSU faithful for once again making him even richer than before...The new contract extension is for 95 million for ten years...
So if you actually think LSU will pay 100 million to get him here and be locked in for ten years on a 9-3 every year coach...you should not be operating a vehicle, heavy equipment or caring for small children at this time..

I'm not pining for a coach, dude. I'm just looking at it objectively because Woodward and Fisher have the relationship. It doesn't matter what any of us think. It matters what Woodward thinks. And he and Jimbo are boys. So I'm saying don't be naïve to think that Woodward wouldn't give him a deal larger than he already gave him.

I'm sorry your reading comprehension deficiency prevents you from understanding that I have no obsession with Fisher. I'm trying to figure out what makes most sense in the mind of Woodward.

You dont even know enough about what you dont know, to make this statement
Jimbos raise doesnt go into effect until Jan 2022. So he could sign with LSU in Dec for the same amount, and it will be a 25% raise over what he made this year. In fact, SW doesnt even have to match the offer, and Jimbo would still be getting a nice raise.
If Jimbo leaves, it wont be because of the money

But for the love of God, people think about more than just money for a fricking job. Some people will take similar money to be in what they feel is a better situation. fricking bunch of narrow minded idiots that have obviously never had to make big career job decisions talking out of their arse. You don’t have to give someone a 40+% raise if you offer other things that are important. These coaches have enough money. They want other things in life as well

I would not give someone a ridiculous pay day just because we are boys. To be successful in business, you can't just throw money at people because you like them. They have to be worth it.
