Is he coming back next year or will he join Pete Jenkins at the Senior Center?

The coaching hires last year were a disaster.

And this years will more than likely be equal or worse... I hope they go after some of the many great options out there but I just have a feeling we end up with some underwhelming hires

Derek had to have chloroformed Alleva as he flipped through the first several pages of the binder as O sat across from him muttering incoherent voodoo scree scraw in a feeble but effective form of hypnosis upon which his second dream job was brought to fruition.

Coaching hires were a disaster since O was hired.

I’d say Bill Busch was a great hire.

This is one reason that a "CEO" model can't succeed without a coach that can't lock down one side of the field. It worried the shite out of me when Ed was hired and it's looking like many of us were right.

You have less room to miss on hires in this kind of model.

CEO locks down the defense for LSU. He gets along great with Aranda.

Les Miles was supposed to be an offensive minded coach and look how that turned out. Next year our young receivers and OLine come back with more experience and depth and we add 2 stud running backs.

O is so scared of nola public school coaches, he probably can't fire Joseph unless he hires Trombone Shorty.

This is why you don’t hire someone to run this model with a 65 IQ to go along with his insecurity and nepotism issues. Ed doesn’t want to hire anyone who could take his job and he thinks that a combination of 2005 USC’s staff and his geriatric barbecue buddies is the best hiring method. I love the CEO method if your head coach doesn’t let insecurity and other issues prevent him from making the best decisions

Yep. Recruiting there near the end of Miles' tenure was hot garbage. We've had no D Line talent in a long time it seems like.

And who was the defensive line coach/ace recruiter during those years?
