Franklin is a good football coach, but he has handled this entire thing extremely poorly.

Yeah I’m not sure why this board suddenly hates him. I will say that he has really handled this poorly the last few weeks though.
I hope he’s in Woodward’s top three at least

His offense is boring. He plays to grind out wins and is about to lose 3 straight.
It has also been reported speaking to him did not go well.
I don't know if that is true, but I can definitely see that being true.

The best thing that could possibly happen would be for Franklin to leave Penn State then Penn State Hire Dan Mullen away from Florida and Florida go and hire Lane Kiffin or Luke Fickell.

Franklin is overrated.
You guys should definitely want him to stay at PSU or to go to USC. LSU can, and will likely, do better.

Franklin is a good coach, not a great coach. Les and O were terrible coaches and stumbled into NC Titles. You guys will never settle on one. I will just be happy with a coach who is not a clown and can demand respect. Someone to stabilize this shite show.

I keep reading that on here, but it just doesnt show up in the resume. Winning at Vandy hasnt seemed to translate to continued success in the B1G. He has only had 3 good seasons out of 9 at PSU.
He is 40-25 (.615) in conference. That translates to about .500 in the SEC. We just fired our most recent .500 coach. He is on a 2=game losing streak with #2 OSU upcoming, and he does not seemed focused in the least.
And the fans kinda are meh about him leaving. Speaks volumes.

Might want to go look at his conference record especially since Moorehead left. At psu he will be 25-23 in conference without Moorehead. 36-36 overall without him. Losing record last year, gonna be 5 losses again this year prolly.

You have a point, similar to Kiffin, 64% winning record and 3/4 of the board is in love with him.
