So wrong. Each of those programs 'hit' on who they wanted to hire initially. Taggart, Richt, and Herman in all 3 cases were who the fanbase wanted.
if your point was to illustrate how much of a crap shoot this all is then you'd be right. but no, because LSU doesn't hit a "home run" hire in December it doesn't mean the program is set for 5 years of misery. get over yourself.

It would be disappointing but I think Stoops would do well here. NC well I don'tknow but he'd field a good team. I wouldn't pop a champaign cork but I wouldn't melt either. Perhaps it's time prepare for lower expectations though I still think Riley is the guy.

Stoops is fine at Kentucky. He uses his Midwest ties and Vince Marrow his TE coach to recruit heavily in Ohio. Not sure he translates as well elsewhere.
