I wouldn't be surprised if Clifford is playing hurt, but yeah, Franklin really doesn't excite me at all. He recruits well and has proven he can manage big program personalities, but man, does his in game management suck and his scheme is uninspiring. I'd much rather Napier or Tucker if we live in the world where we don't get a "white whale", and we probably do live in that world.
Also, reminder that while Penn State is number 7, they didn't really play Auburn any better than we did. They aren't particularly good.

I'm just looking forward to all of the LSU fans making excuses for Franklin next week when they are getting housed by Ohio State, the same way they are doing damage control for Lincoln Riley today.
