Nothing on ESPN, Fox Sports, CNN Sports....Nothing..

Im telling you Michigan and Miles agreed with something and its just too quiet.

Think about it if Michigan wanted Hoke, wouldn't you think he would already be signed.

LSU rolls tomorrow night sending out Miles to Michigan in fashion.

And if I were to take a guess, not many of the players would be upset and they would understand because Miles is a standup kind of guy and would be truthful with his players and inform them of the decision.

Im just saying... Its tooooooo quiet.

I am starting to agree. But I hope not.

I agree. All of that, combined with just the gut feeling that Miles is going home. If Miles leaves, extraticket needs to be unbanned.

I totally agree. This search will be the antithesis of the 2007 search.

Make no mistake about it, Miles is who UM wanted. Three years removed, and with Harbaugh out of the picture, they will come after Miles.

Judging from his 2007 comments, he was truly heartbroken that he had to tell UM because of the circumstances.

I think he leaves.

has michigan handle any of this appropriately? you are giving them to much credit. i think they are just beginning their search. they may not have a coach until february.

I hope you are right...

I just have the suspicion our President Mary Sue Coleman and Lloyd Carr wanted nothing to do with either JH or LM.

I think those 2 are why Martin could not be reached back in 07 due to "sailing".

No way they let it go on more than a week from now. They need that slot filled with NSD coming up,

And we def never landed on the moon....

Seriously, the more logical assumption is that he is staying.
With all the psychos in the media and our fanbase and no one can confirm that they have contacted Miles. Also, everything points to reason he will stay. I know this is a stretch for most, but let's try to think logically. Miles will probably coach for 6 more years(he's 57 and enjoys family too much and this job has aged him). Why would he take over a project to rebuild and never enjoy.

I don't like because of timeing but you are probably right. I will pissed at Michigan more than Milse because the waited so fricking long to make a move with RR. It may be hard for us to get who we want and save this class.

It took them 2 days to fire RR...I doubt they hired Miles in 1. That said, I hope Miles is staying. We'll know soon enough.

Because day 1 they had their heart set on JH. He says no. RR not fired.

Day 2 they contact Miles' agent. They say yes. RR fired but all Miles asks is that Michigan say nothing to nobody and let him get through the week.

Anyone remember Miles quote saying something like lets get through this week?

I had no idea Les was that old.

Also, what were the "circumstances" in 2007?
