its likely just timing from the playoff on Sunday. No one was going to leave before playoff time, now that no one cares about the bowls we are can flood the staff.

Probably Kelly waiting to see if Notre Dame qualified for playoffs or not before bringing in some of the notre dame contacts he was interested in
He wasn't going to put them in a position to where they had to leave like he did
