Really all depends on the hire.
If it is someone like BOB or Stoops he got played by Riley if it is someone like Rhule or Dabo then this was his guy all along!

It is also possible that they had Napier in mind before they fired Mullen. Napier's name has come up in several coaching searches in the last few years. With the exception of some LSU fans it seems most are calling that a solid hire for Florida.
Zook is probably not a comparable hire, since Zook had no HC experience prior to Florida. But any G5 coach is a risk/reward type of guy.
