Is Orgeron charismatic ?

I haven't seen evidence of this even though it's one of the loudest rally cries from his supporters.
I've watched his sessions with the media , listened to his radio show and have read interviews. I don't sense charisma or charm. In fact , he's rather mundane and boring in general. I have been led to believe his locker room speeches are legendary, but he must save it all for the team.
Please post examples of Orgeron's "power of personality" so I can get a specific glimpse into this cult like reputation. I wanna see what perpetuates it besides his ethnicity .

He definitely sold himself to many. It was a lot harder for people in SoCal to fall for it, but he definitely got some in Louisiana hook line and sinker.

I agree , but I just don't get it...I'm coonass, as well , and his personality does nothing for me.

Oregeron would be an excellent used car salesmen in Gonzales or Houma if coaching didn't work out. And he has done an excelllant Job of selling every coonass from Cameron, LA to Houma south if I-10.

He's not clever or funny. He's not quick witted and entertaining. Where the charm? This dude reminds me of a thousand ole boys down the bayou but leaves less of an impression.

Miles was a helluva recruiter too. So are lots of coaches.
As a fan. A supporter of the program he has not impressed me with his personality. That's supposedly his strong point , but like Miles , I guess it's saved for the recruits and lockeroom.

I want to see the evidence of his charisma. Something that justifies his reputation. I wanna get fired up from a speech or an answer to the media or a sound bite or read an interview and think damn! Get em!
I know he's a good recruiter. I get that....link me some charm and charisma. I wanna see what his cult sees.

Very charismatic and a damn good public speaker. He starts at around the 28 minute mark. They love him as much in Arkansas as they do in Southern Louisiana.

I think Haden or his minions said he wasn't Country Club enough to fit as the USC coach. And hired a drunk afterwards.

I do expect his push to be more effective here, though. If he wins out the rest of his games, the call will be loud from many for him to get the job over all other candidates. Much more so than USC. I expect it.

They however can't stand Haden for ruining the Petersen hiring.
I believe everybody at USC wanted Coach O except Pat Haden.
I'm sure there was a push, though. And it will be stronger here. But even you believe Jimbo is the right move if we can pull it off. I hope the administration feels that way as well.
