That would be an interesting hire. Could you imagine him as HC, keeping coach O but paying him way more and then bringing in Kiffin as OC? Dominating!!

He can act like he is lobbying for Carroll because Carroll is not leaving the Seahawks.

If Pete Carroll wanted to be the coach at LSU I would shite my pants.

Unfortunately it appears he is enjoying the nfl too much to make a change anytime soon.

Great move. LSU would be on probation in no time.

Are you kidding me? If Pete Carroll ever wanted to coach at LSU, you let him. Hell, hire about 15 people to keep his recruiting tactics in check.

Carroll saying that makes me think we're gonna make a home run hire. I just feel like coaches recognize how special this place is and what kind of powerhouse it could be

LSU will most likely hire O. That's how I think this search will pan out.

That's basically why they will hire O because the Cajun masses are screaming for O to be hired. LSU needs to be really careful about this hire and I think handing O the job if he beats Alabama is reckless.

Seattle is on the down side. Russell Wilson has been figured out. A return to college is not out of the question for Pete.

Pete Carroll would most likely jump back to the NFL when he has them calling so no thanks.

Maybe so. But the recruiting and national spotlight while he was here would be worth it in my opinion.

Nah, Pete's a youthful 65, but he's still 65. I don't doubt he thinks it's a great job though.

O can at least use this to help sell recruits.

Not worth it if he would stay only for 1 or 2 years then the program would turn into instability and uncertainty and the hiring process would repeat again.
