Is Napier the Tom Herman of this coaching search

In 2017, Tom Herman had the same cult following as Napier.
Both had success at not P5 teams and people were claiming it will be a huge mistake to not hire him.
Look how it turned out.

I don’t think so. He’s been a head coach twice as long as Herman was, before going to Texas.

Herman is actually a good OC.

Herman was and is a good coach...His personality is what undid him at Texas more than anything.

Napier isn’t making two universities outbid each other for a G5 coach, he’s just going to anyone willing to hire him.

The black box algorithm for this coaching search has no Alleva as input to create Coach 0. Lot of similar variables but the decision making variable is better this time.

"Going to whoever is willing to hire him" is LITERALLY the last thing he's done as a head coach.

Much better coach. Way better at in game adjustments. With much better recruiting prowess. If LSU doesn’t take him they will regret letting him go to Florida……unless we get Rhule.

Napier wasn't weird like Herman and I've never heard of Napier kissing his players either.
