Is Moffitt included in the guys that won't be retained?

It only mentions Faulk and Raymond being retained by Kelly, but is that only an on field coach thing or is the S&C coach open as well?

Faulk and Raymond are the only ones that have been confirmed to stay, that doesn’t mean they are going to be the only ones who do.

But I would expect we clean house in that department

Weird because Faulk is trash. And Tommy has his hand in everything great that has gone on at LSU the last two decades. Including a championship caliber team every 4yrs

lol thats how i feel.

I do think TM will stay in some capacity though. Faulk has to be only being kept for recruiting.

I've seen it speculated for a while that Moffitt would be out with any new regime as he's nearing retirement and a new coach typically wants a 4-5 year commitment. But who knows

LSU is not going to kick Faulk after all the shite he had to deal with this year. I agree with you, he hasn't shown much as a coach here but I can see why LSU wouldn't want to boot him.

They should push him to an admin position, keep his pay, and find someone better for that position and someone who can recruit better too. imo.

I'm pretty sure he has an administrative role in some capacity, so I could see him moving to that full time

Great players don't necessarily make great coaches. The Rant is convinced Kevin Mawae would be the GOAT offensive line coach, simply because he was such a fantastic player.

Not that you in particular think Faulk is above scrutiny, just saying...

Said it when they hired him. He was highly unqualified as a coach.

Unless he’s a deal breaker for say, Citizen, I don’t get it

Those two were mentioned because they were involved in the recruitment of that particular prospect.

I imagine it has to do with what he did for LSU as a player.

Plus whoever tf is doing the RB rotations needs to have been fired already.

Was discussing this on the rant earlier: LINK

I think BK brings his S&C coach (Jacob Flint), but Moffitt will still be employed.

I loved Faulk as a player, but not sure about him as RB coach. I'd like to see him kept in some capacity though, maybe for recruiting and player relations like Tazmin Mitchell in basketball. Good to have some former players on staff but i think we can get more production from RB coach.

ND's guy (Matt Balis) is one of the best in the country. Bama hired his last assistant as their head S&C coach. If we can get him, we take it and run.

I don’t see what others see in Faulk as a coach or a recruiter

He’s not going anywhere until he decides to hang it up
