Is Jimbo really 7-5 in last 12 games?

IMO both LSU and FSU look like they are/were being run by guys who have lost touch with their team(s).

The end of last season may have ruined two teams seasons this year

You spoke the truth! Yet some idiots here are calling for Jimbo. He would 3 or 4 option on my list.

Jimbo's teams often feel like they are sleepwalking. He's got a young QB but this happened even with Jameis. Sleep walk through half of OM, all of Louisville, half of USF, 3/4 of UNC - and that's just in 5 games this season.

If he can't get guys he recruited to play hard and focused for him, is it worth the gamble for us?

I don't think so.

Jimbo is taking top 3 talent (third behind Alabama and Ohio State) and turning it into a unranked disaster

Yepppp, this true. He has o-line problems and a defense that is totally not prepared on game day. I wish Chucky was back in Auburn defending the trees or something.

Their defense leaves much to be desired IMO. The offense seems like its using its weapons.

Jimbo's management of the offense was awful.

Jimbo won 29 straight games from the end of 2012 to the Rose Bowl game against Oregon in 2014.

Twenty. Nine. That just doesn't happen if you're a mediocre coach.

Apparently, though, since he's lost a couple games so far this season, he's not worthy of being LSU's next coach.

Since when did Jimbo become a gamble

incorrect.

I think last year ruined both teams this year. Jimbo is a good coach, just probably, like Miles was at one place too long. It happens.

Redshirt freshman ranked #3 pro style. Anyway the QB isn't the problem, the defense is a mess, and that defense brought back 8 starters from the 19th ranked total defense and 8th ranked scoring defense.

I honestly don't get why people want him.

This should be a if we can't get Herman, we see what Ogeron can do decision. I do not want a young guy with no ties here to come clean house and start over.

(waiting for someone to respond with "studies indicate that Interim guys suck long term")

He wouldn't be a bad hire. Probably similar results to Miles, some great seasons mixed in with just ok. Qb play would be improved, but his teams constantly lose to less talented ones and saban would prob own him.

Do you think Jimbo is not focused because he has been worrying about getting the job here? Maybe he is not preparing as well as he used to.

And on the bright side with that loss FSU is eliminated from the playoff so he's able to have his agent start discussions.
