Is it possible that Rich Rod will be coaching against his future

team on NYD?
Assuming he is fired, MSU makes sense for him.
1.) He's friends with Scott Stricklin, MSU AD.
2. MSU was ready to pay Mullen 2.2mil+ this year which is as much as Rich Rod made at Michigan.
3. The players Mullen has recruited for three years are spread guys.
4. Rich Rod has perfect recruiting base for the spread in his backyard.
5. MSU is like WVU...no pressure. He can stay at MSU for as long as he wants as long as he gets to bowls consistently.

To me, it would be funny if MSU beat them something like 38-7 and then Michigan fired him the next day and MSU hired him the following day.

Now thats a thought!
Scott Stricklin was asst AD at Tulane when RR was there for 12-0 year...
This forum is great! This shite just keeps getting better. Who needs football games!

they can pay more than he was making at UM and he'll have a kickass DC hanging around Starkville to team up with. I don't see Mullen taking Diaz.

When RR got to WVU - there was ZERO pressure. They were nobodys relative to the top of college football.
Thats true. Kind of like MSU us right now. They are a good program but they are not relevant AT ALL as far as being a consistent top 10-20 program.

Is it possible that RR leaves --- even to Florida --- before he is fired?

we are trying to run a guy who wins 9 games a year out of town that is pressure and when RR got there he had plenty of pressure b/c he was following a coach who had wvu play for the NC twice. Might wana brush up on someones history before you just say random stuff

@straghtcash
Seriously man... Only to you WVU fans was there some relevance.
When was the last time WVU had played for those two NC's?
Come on man- seriously.... You guys were an after thought as far as being a Legit threat in the NCAA college football landscape. You were NOT a threat to the national programs until Rich Rod saved your azz.
1988 man (1993 was close) - roughly 12-14 years before RR took over. I am not saying you WVU had NEVER amounted to anything before in their history,. I am just saying RR brought them back from the shadows. RR left - and now you guys are back to where you were before. A nice program but in now way a threat to be a consistent top 10-15 program and compete for NC's
Dont be stuck in a vacuum

comparing the two programs is a joke when one has much more history and success than the other and with a fan base that expects conference championships
