Having him in an Admin position is a win/win. We make the changes that were necessary, and we can maintain his connections. Glad he wants TO BE AN LSU TIGER.

Maybe he doesn't want to coach anymore. Maybe he likes being in Baton Rouge. Maybe he likes the relationship with Miles. Maybe his family likes it in BR. Maybe he likes recruiting and organizational responsiblilities more than coaching. Maybe he got offered jobs he didn't think he wanted or sounded any better than what he will have at LSU. Maybe he is tired of moving around. Maybe he went to Miles and said he was tired of coachcing but would like to stay at LSU in another capacity which Miles was agreeable to.

All you Cheerleaders tell me why he has to move into an "administrative" role.

1. He wants to stay in the area because his son lives here.

2. He doesn't like coaching.

I do think a lot of our DL success was because of Brumbaugh with Lane doing recruiting and semi-admin stuff before Brumbaugh left
