He pulled Patrick Peterson... and Greg Shaw last year.

Is a big reason we're in it for Sam Montgomery.

Am i the only one who finds this a little surprising? I think its hard to judge his performance based on this year because the entire scheme was so FUBAR, but I thought he was great as a coach in the past.

Hell, he even came up with the Express, which was our one bright spot on D this year. Seems like he's got a great future as a coach.

Would he still be involved on the sideline and practice field?

All you Cheerleaders tell me why he has to move into an "administrative" role. Why can't he get a coaching job anywhere? Ya mean not one school in college football wants to hire the guy? Can't even get a nibble to coach DL from a bottom feeder. What's that tell you?. The proofs in the pudding...........

He might not be that good as a coach. But he could be one hellava guy and still has a lot to contribute. Also this was the first year the DL looked bad under him. Maybe he has been offered at other places and loves LSU more. Maybe there are many things that could be affecting this decision, but being a shite stirring bitch could be clouding your vision.

What would make you happy? Just curious, because you sound like a very miserable person who loves to post crap. We have hired his replacement for obvious reasons. Let the hate go.

Maybe the fact that his son plays at ULL played into the decision. He may just want to watch his son play football while he is in college. I am sure an administrative role wouldn't entail him being at all of the games.....

i will guarantee you that he can

he can't get one of those jobs that will pay him what he's going to make as an administrator
