Is coach O trying to hire his buddies? Or the best staff?

I don't mind Pete Jenkins but he's 97 can't go out and recruit. Coach O is off to a bad start with recruiting and putting together a staff

We got aranda to stick around and got a 3 star from alabama. Everything else has been a negative.
It's not a good start by any viewpoint other than in Bamas view.

Great recruiter, good position coach. LSU Alum. Kinda checks all the boxes.
We fired Peveto, so thats an opening to fill.
Aranda and O really like Jenkins as a position coach. Idk about going out and recruiting, but O is the HC and probably one of the top 3 DL recruiters in the country.
I am not worried abotu defense. MOre worried about whether we keep Grimes or not.

Orgeron has reportedly made position coaches feel like their jobs are not 100% safe. Bold strategy before signing day.

AMAZING timing for this thread...the day we are interviewing Canada for OC who has no relations to Ed Orgeron whatsoever lol
Everything else you've heard are just rumors. If O felt real strongly about firing a coach, you'd have seen it happen already (Peveto).
And I just dont understand the bashing on his "hires" so far. He made 1 hire. Pete Jenkins who is one of the best DLine coaches in the country. He also helped in keeping Aranda. He hasn't made a hire yet for OC so to say he has failed or w/e is ignorant.
As far as recruiting goes, yeah there is uncertainty on offense because we haven't hired a new OC yet. It's only been like 3 weeks. Not 3 months. Plus its the dead period so can't do anything right now anyway.
As usual, fans are overreacting and being too emotional.
