I'm having a hard time on this board's pulse

on Jimbo coming to LSU. I can seriously come up with a dozen names of coaches I would rather have. I don't get what anyone thinks is left to see on him as a HC.
That said...I am curious about the board's feelings on him. Upvote if he's in your top-3 and downvote if you don't want him at all.

The biggest positive would be the Aggy meltdown but other than that it’s an underwhelming hire.

He's not my first choice but he's a good recruiter and I think he would do better at LSU than he has at A&M. The real problem is paying what it would cost to get him here. I don't think he's worth that much.

Because there is no main target like jimbo or Herman previously. Also woody is keeping the leaks plugged.

I think it's a safe bet that you are exactly right about Woody. He has played this beautifully so far and I think he knows exactly what he's doing. If he hires Fisher, I will be greatly disappointed.

Jimbo has no reason to go to LSU other than simple preference. aTm has an equal recruiting base, equal schedule, and better funding.

This may be me dreaming this up but doesn't have a child that is special needs and has to go to dr. in B.R. frequently? Not that it would matter but seems like that came up last time.

Jimbo's not my #1, but considering he's been there, done that as an OC and HC, and knowing some of potential names are just preposterous, I'd take Jimbo in a second. Woodward knows Peterson, Aranda, Jimbo, and there capabilities, and are probably high on Woodward's list.
