It’s not Aranda, stop. Why would you want Aranda? I view him in the same tier as Tucker which isn’t high. Dudes accomplished nothing as a head coach. I know there’s no room for facts on the rant but his defenses statistically got worse every year he was here. Pass.

And what the hell happened to our defense when he left.

Well, after looking at the photo, if I were Dave I wouldn't come anywhere near LSU until his daughters are grown and have husbands.

Edit: sorry, it was a poor joke attempt on my part.

However, I don't know if the fact that his daughter is at college at Baylor changes anything for him if LSU comes calling.

And Miles' daughter went to Florida. I don't think it'd be an issue when you're talking $millions and a career path upgrade.

No, the stats back it up. It did get worse. But I'm now convinced that wasn't all on Aranda.

Definitely not on Aranda. He came here as Miles was leaving, so we no longer ran an offense that was designed with the purpose of maximizing defense through playing time of possession and field position. Infact each year our offense opened up more and more with spread and hurry up elements that put more pressure on the D than previously. Also take into account that the rest of the SEC was going through a offensive revolution as well. That’s all without the rumors of Coach Os meddling.

What made it clear to me that Aranda was top notch was how he was able to make in game adjustments better than any coach we have ever had and how we absolutely shut teams down in the SEC championship game and the playoffs.

Aranda is the man. He may not be our next head coach but he truly was a badass for us.

Nothing against Riley, but I’ve been looking for the next Saban since he left LSU. Someone whose attention to details, focus, and toughness all become traits of his team. Aranda to me is that coach.

This is what everyone says, but yet they want the “big names”
But most of the “big names “ don’t have these qualities. I think Aranda is just what the program needs.

Aranda should be LSU’s next head coach, athletic directors and NFL owners covet a coach with his traits.

How about keeping people like you in check before you go off on knighting a POS like O. You’re part of the reason we are looking.
