I'm gonna give Sumlin the benefit of the doubt and hope he can put together a bad arse crew and fit the offense to our players like a good coach always does. I hope me makes me eat massive amounts of crow.

I wouldn't mind if Kirby Smart got head coaching experience at A&M, so we could hire him as Saban's replacement in a few years. Just wait until the 2012 class is secure.

I just don't understand why anyone thinks Smart would be a good candidate. Saban runs that defense. Saban is a control freak. That's what makes Saban an especially great defensive coach.

This. Plus, Muschamp didn't exactly set the SEC on fire this year. He better get an OC that can coach & doesn't have 3 axe handles 'cross his a**, or they could be in trouble.

Gary Pinkel has said Mizzou is our cross-div rival at least for 2012 until we can the Arky-LSU-A&M 3-way hate triangle going. So there ya go.

Whats up A&M with not giving Larry Fedora an interview????? The guy is a Texas native, high energy guy, runs a great offense, and is a GREAT PR guy.

Some has-been that has strong A&M good-ole-boy ties, like Sherman. That's why I say we just re-hire Sherman and be done with it.
