He said it better than anyone has so far, so that’s why so many people are posting it!

Cliff notes:

- People whom he trusts were not saying LR to LSU but the opposite.
- People with skin in the game manipulate the market by finding people with a microphone.
- He was fed the same stuff as other media but chose not to run with it.
- We're all in the dark "because this coaching search is being handled effectively."
- Doesn't think we whiffed on LR; that we were ever close to LR coming here. We didn't go after LR as much as we were led to believe not was LR interested in us as much as we were led to believe.
- Doesn't think we're in scramble mode.
- No one squashed the LR-to-LSU rumors because it worked for all parties involved.
- Lack of real info creates a vacuum that someone fills and everyone else runs with it. Doesn't mean there's smoke but rather an echo chamber.
- Thinks the lack of leaks is good for us; best outcome. Suggests it's an NFL guy or someone still playing in CFB.
- Thinks everyone is in play except maybe Saban or Smart.

His part on our coaching search lasts about 8 minutes.
