If you want Orgeron as head coach... You also want to watch the world burn.

Alleva has shown he cannot deliver and will not get a top OC. He will try to save another buck and Ensminger or other lower tier OC. Aranda will likely be gone soon and all you are left with is a low rent OC and a cheerleader on the sidelines.

The same people who want O are same who wanted to see Miles to stay.

I like Coach O if he can get a good/elite OC. I think Aranada stays for at least 1-2 more seasons.

Les Miles got fired because he promised change and there wasn't change. Alleva has said he's considering O on the fact he can bring in a big name OC. If he hires O and does not bring in an OC he's risking his own job.

At the Wisconsin game we sat by some of the board members and they were not happy with Miles or Alleva before/during/after the game.

Again don't lump everyone together. I did not want Miles gone until Nov 2015 and could see the angle of giving him one last chance in 2016. I don't want O as a first option. Not everyone who did not trash Miles every time they had an opportunity and actually saw the positives he brought wants O as our HC without considering other options. A lot of stereotyping going on that ain't cool. And I see this North of I-10 vs South of I-10 division over O. United we stand, Divided we fall....ever heard of that ol' saying???

Who he hell will O get? O has stated he is a pro style guy. Kiffen isn't coming here no matter what the dumbasses think.

I don't think Kiffin is coming here either, I'm not a huge Kiffin fan at that. That doesn't mean that Coach O cannot go out and find a talented OC to come here.

For the record I'm not saying Coach O should be our next head coach. I'm just saying at this point he deserves a chance for the job.

In theory, yes. But Alleva has proven he cannot close the deal.

And if his talented O coordinator is actually good, then he will potentially be gone in a couple years as well. Do you honestly expect us to continually recycle coordinators every couple years? And if these coordinators are staying for long, then they obviously aren't doing a good job.

This thought process is weird to me. As if all a HC does is hire coordinators and let them do their thing.

If there's an if in there, then you're not confident in O.

Assistant coaches shouldn't even factor into to making a headcoaching decision.

So we shouldn't have hired Dave Aranada because he could possibly be gone soon as an elite DC?

Saban shouldn't have hired Kirby Smart, Jim McElwain, Lane Kiffin, Jeremy Pruitt? Those are all pretty successful coordinators in their field. Things are turning out well for Saban still.

If people think Kiffin to LSU is a reality, Aranda to Texas with Herman has just as much chance to happen.

If you're referring to what happened a year ago, that wasn't on him.

He/administration succumbed to public pressure, the same thing happening now.
