If you are Southern Miss who do you want as your next HC?

Names I have mentioned around Hattiesburg since last week include.
North Carolina OC- Blake Anderson
Florida State associate HC- Eddie Gran
former Arkansas HC- Bobby Petrino***(WILDCARD)***
UT-Martin HC- Jason Simpson (former USM player)
Texas A&M OC- Kliff Kingsbury
OK State OC- Todd Monken
IUP HC- Curt Cignetti (former Bama WR coach and recruiting coordinator)
Im sure they will be a minority candidate who will get an interview.

I have a friend of mine who fits this criteria.
FWIW (and I live in the Burg) USM can pay up to $800k for their next head coach.

Monken would be a great hire and has deep south recruiting experience from his time at LSU. However I'm not sure Southern Miss can match his current salary at Ok State now that Gundy worked up a raise for him and his staff.

How?
They are selling out home games, as in selling their home games they have scheduled back to the teams they are playing in the future. Also they scheduled the Arky game to make money next year. They have 7 road games next year including to Nebraska, Arkansas, and Boise State.
In 2014 they travel to Mississippi State and BYU.
Not the best way to improve finances, but thats what they are trying.

Yes, but HC is better than OC and will pay for itself once you have HC experience and can move on elsewhere.

And it's because of how they did Bower for the most part. The whole "Ole Miss and State are scared to play us" bullshite really gets on my nerves.

No doubt Bower was a heck of a HC and was as good as Southern Miss could ever wish for.

Cignetti doesn't look like a bad candidate. I think Monken should be the guy, but that's not a bad list.
I still wonder if Jim Leavitt is interested in getting back into coaching, seems like he'd be a good fit there.
ETA: Get back into college coacing, I mean. I know he's with the 49ers right now.
