Aranda is totally unproven and he is and has always been a piss poor recruiter. The last damn thing LSU needs is the face of LSU being a piss poor recruiter. As recruiting is the life line of success.

What evidence do you have to him being a piss poor recruiter? He brought in great defensive players in every class he recruited at LSU. Stop with this stupid narrative.

The entire time Aranda was at LSU it was well known and repeatedly acknowledged by everyone that Aranda was a big liability on the recruiting trail.
Moreover, Aranda is only in his second season of being a head coach. Taking a chance on someone like Aranda with so little head coaching experience would amount to rolling the dice and if Woodward rolls the dice, then he is terribly incompetent.

Woodward hired Thomas away from TN to A&M He also made Ed hire him. I bet Thomas is on the next staff or in some job in the athletic building.
