Stoops has pretty much been offered the job twice and turned it down twice.

Funny you guys mention Shanahan as a possibility. Believe it or not, he actually had SERIOUS interest in taking the job as well the first time before he ultimately decided to stay in the NFL and we got stuck with Zook.

Les Miles.

I've read some very glowing reports about him on this board.

Let's put it this way.. if they DON'T promote Strong, I'd say he leaves no matter what.

We may just get strong to come to Alabama if they don't hire him. He would fit in nice in Tuscaloosa.

If Mike Shanahan will at least listen to a pitch about being HC of the Buffalo Bills, would he not be open to talking to Florida?

The Colorado Bufs are also supposed to be on him hard too.

Everything that I have heard about Colorado is that they can't even afford to fire Hawkins because of budgetary problems. How could they then hope to lure Shanahan?

Besides, after being fired by the Broncos working in Colorado at a college would feel a little like working in AA ball, wouldn't it?

I think it would be Brian Kelly. Wouldn't it be funny if Kyle Willingham got it? Would that mean that Utah was a coaching stepping stone to Florida? Wasn't he a coach under Meyer?
