It's my biggest argument with Jimbo hiring as well. He won't beat Saban.

Just be happy we can get Jimbo and not have to rely on a coach making incredible OC hires in order to win.

jeez people. Jimbo will KILL it here. He actually has a better resume then saban did when he went back to Alabama.

JUst the perception of this hire alone will pay off immediately.

Saban is not indestructible

How many of those spread teams beat bama? How many won a NC?

The (apparent) lack of enthusiasm and vigor in our pursuit of Herman is perplexing. Perhaps he telegraphed early on that he wasn't interested, or Alleva calculated that he would prefer Texas and decided not to squander limited resources chasing him? I don't know.

Or perhaps Herman is viewed as less qualified and more unknown than fisher.

The only hope in hiring Jimbo is Saban would retire in 3-5 years but then what if Bama would then hire Dabo? Fisher wouldn't beat Dabo either. He gonna lose like Miles 2.0.

Oh. My. God.

This bullshite has got to fricking stop.

I don't know why we are hiring a coach to begin with...we should just concede to Saban. No need to play the game since the only guy that can beat him is the one that lost to SMU and Navy.
