It doesn’t offend me that Napier wants the LSU job. He’d be an idiot to not want it. He already had relationships with all the coaches in the state and the athletic dept has enough money to give him the best staff and shadow staff that he could dream of.

I don't think anyone is trying to offend ULL fans by saying Napier would drink LSU's bath water to get a date. That's more for the Florida fans who have built up this narrative that they "stole" him from LSU.

I think Napier and Aranda should be the top 2 candidates for LSU right now

Aranda is the only potentially elite guy left.

Napier is fine if he takes a mid-level SEC salary without too many years, like 5/30, so we can fire him if it doesn't work out. He has to promise to hire a real OC and stop believing he's a guru when he's low key bad.

I want to believe in Woodward but his confidence in Fisher at A&M and wanting him here makes me question everything. Fisher is garbage and that seems to escape Woodward somehow.

Fisher is the perfect lazy hire and it was shocking how many idiots on here were pushing Fisher as a great thing.

Fisher is "one of us"

Fisher comes from a "rival"

Fisher just beat Saban!

Ficher has a national title (or "3 playoff appearances" if you listened to the Fisherstans include his 2003 OC stint at LSU)

Women's basketball and while Johnson is a good coach he wasn't top 3 that the big-time AD was supposed to be pulling in.

Yeah I love all the people pretending SW is some AD god and their primary argument is overpaying for a WBB coach

You can't know that. Too many coordinators and lower level/NFL coaches doing great jobs. Hard to put a ceiling on Louisiana talent.

Napier is light-years better than O.

I’d throw a party if he’s the hire.
I’ll throw a party for 99% of the hires Woody could potentially make.

Just not Jimbo. And not Lane. Because I don’t like the way they look and act and talk. Lol

3 days ago, Dellenger claimed Aranda committed to Baylor extension.

Also,

Joe Brady did skull drag Alabama, and produced a heisman QB at LSU. Also undefeated in college football. People shite on Brady but he can put an unstoppable offense on the field.

I’m all on the Lane Train if Riley is saying no, he’d own the SEC with LSU talent

Joe Brady recruited exactly 0 of those players that made up that unstoppable offense.

Lane would be semi successful at LSU.

I’m just tired of LSU having immature morons as head coaches. We’ve suffered listening to them talk at press conferences and interviews on tv for too long. We need someone that can at least speak intelligently and articulately.

And still made them unstoppable on the field.

So you hire some recruiters to your staff. Problem solved. Brady will produce the wins.

I’m not talking about wanting Brady as a HC, but back here as an OC again. He hasn’t found NFL success, needs to return to what he’s good at. College. Hmm i’ve seen this play out for another, different coach before…

Next you’ll tell me it was all Ensminger. Despite seeing Ensminger’s play calling the year before Brady and the year after Brady left.

I’m tired of having an incompetent offense. Give me Lane. Hell, Daronte can come back. The defense was great after the bye week.

I worry about a contract like that being a thing of the past.

Dude, comparing Kiffin to Ed or Miles in a press conference is just silly.
