Lol, you guys have to be the most delusional fan base there is. Saban was at Alabama for 17 years won 6 nattys , has a Statue outside of the stadium that has a field named after him, his daughter, son both graduated from bama, he still has an office at the stadium and is getting 500,000 a year from bama but you guys think he's going to leave all that and go back to a place he already left 20 years ago and resurrect your program for a couple years . What are you all smoking that you think that would ever ever happen?

Because he said he regrets leaving and that was his biggest mistake? He regrets leaving because he had no competition for recruiting and had his pick of the whole state and basically could recruit who he wanted without any other school interfering. Not because he loved LSU that much , he was thinking about his career. Don't get your hopes up to much.

just to watch the gumps melt over him returning to coaching

I doubt he wants to frick with returning, or he wouldn’t have left coaching to begin with… WHEREVER he was coaching. But I wouldn’t melt myself… I have too much appreciation for what he did for Alabama.

I think the challenge would intrigue him as AD (not coach) and he probably wouldnt do it at Bama because of how close he is to that football program, but theres no fricking way he does it at his age.

Also, his bat shite crazy daughter despises LSU, just go look at some of her social media posts.
