Here are some names I think are at least worth some consideration -

Herman
Patterson
Shaw
Peterson
Mora Jr
Fisher
McDaniel
MaCintyre
Klieman
Aranda
Schiano

Yep. And while I hate to say it, bring in Kiffin to Run the O.

In my opinion, we could do a lot worse.

So that is my #3 choice.

I'm not saying that I back this but I have a feeling that if the two mentioned say no that Lane Kiffin would be a serious candidate. I know his past but for some reason when I talk to LSU people his name keeps coming up. FWIW, I think Jimbo loses another game or two and we finish what we started last year bringing him "home". I think Houston gets into the Big 12 and makes the playoffs taking Herman off the table.

If we dont get Herman or Fisher, Orgeron will keep the job with his current staff and a new OC. If it doesnt work out, we will try to get our guy again after next season. Orgeron will not let the program fall much in recruiting. So really this scenario is win win.

Well, their dad has more national championships than the sons do.

Well NFC Champion Harbaugh went to Michigan... (I know he had ties).

Mullen has had one losing season, and that was his initial year. One could argue he is a much better option than Jimbo and Herman.

Isn't a Ravens ex coach the reason we are in this mess?
