I would be ok with that.

Steele does not get a pass in my book, his defense alignments was plain bad. if we lose White, Mills and Beckwith, it will get worse.

Yep ... I'm sure there are dozen of great assistants lining up to put their careers on the line with a HC with no guaranteed future.

This is not an option. Les and LSU will have no interest from anyone worth a damn.

Glad you would be okay with this. You enjoy mediocrity. Good for you.

But why, what is even the point? I think it is fairly widely accepted that miles was already going to shut it down after next season. What does a one year staff overhaul accomplish? Moreover, what legitimate and reasonable coordinators would want to walk into this mess with an uncertain future over their heads? We've crossed the Rubicon at this point, our only real option is a new head coach.

After this has gone this far if Lester stays who do you think will want to come? This reminds me of Auburn, Tubby and Jetgate. Tubbs survived and we cleaned house with the ones in administration that got their hands dirty with it. But Tubbs never had the support of the administration that was hired after Jetgate. Ther were also some influential boosters that wanted Tubbs gone. It was just a matter of time before Things caught up with Tubbs. Tubbs made dramatic changes in offensive philosophy but the coaches that he refused to get rid of never bought in and actually helped in things going sour. If LSU really believes that it is time for change, you better cut ties now. Relationships have probably been damaged beyond repair between your AD, Les and some of your big time boosters. Even if you get rid of your AD and keep Les does he have overwhelming support from the big time boosters? If he doesn't it will only be a matter of time and you will be going through this again.

It's all about politics in the end.

Anyone with a brain knows we are too far down the road to turn back now. Les returning would be a disaster.

I think the media would have to eat crow and start backing les more. They have appealed on his behalf for the last ew days saying fans are greedy with poor expectations and that this is a poor move. Now we get les back they have to become and evangelist for his success.

Plus getting rid of the poor coaches and forcing les to let go of offense all the way.

I know. Surely they have to see how average we've been over the last 4 years? 13-10 I the SEC in the last 3. All of the Curley doomsdayers are out in full force.

Why do people think Les will be able to get good assistants for 1 year?? That's how we fricking ended up with Steele.

Really do you think changing OC will make a difference? We have had 4 in 11 yrs and the offense has not changed

There's no reason to get rid of Frank Wilson.

QB/OC, OL, WR, TE? If I were the TAF/AD, I'd basically hire the OC and let the OC pick the staff.
