Listening to a guy on finebaum and he’s saying that Tamu fans would be outraged if Jimbo went to LSU and that the LSU program is in need of total overhaul.

Jimbo is an ABOVE AVERAGE coach. A&M is fine with above average. We at LSU want a Saban-like Dynasty, and we are going to get one damnit, it's high _ucking time!

Look at their HC history. It's not an elite place to coach. Hard to win.

The media is trying to fire A&M fans up, you know what finebaums show is all about. The story is a nothing burger and nobody on the A&M side thinks there is a chance he leaves. I’m sure there are worried Internet fans but you can’t find an insider or important donor suggesting it’s even a possibility anymore.

I think what has A&M a bit shook is that in his contract Jimbo can leave for another coaching job and owe the university zero (0) dollars

Because A&M is similar to Iowa. If Iowa gets eight wins and a bowl game, they’re happy and content. Very similar to A&M and if you throw in a victory over Alabama they’re just as happy as can. They know they are probably not going to achieve that most other coaches.
