We'll know by Monday. Minimum, if he's on the table, he finishes the regular season late Saturday night with FoxSports, announced Sunday, and flies in Monday. If he has FoxSports championship game coverage obligations in his contract, he can still be announced and get on the phone with recruits that week and be in town the following Monday.

I still say it is Riley or Petersen, and there will be no announcement until end of regular season at the earliest.

If nothing is announced Monday, probably won't be until Christmas

Fact is, Woody (or Petersen for that matter) may have 10 different reasons to hold off on announcing. Just because we don't know why diesnt mean there's not a good explanation.

I concur. If Petersen, announcement Sunday or Monday. If it's Riley, the announcement won't come until his season has ended. Granted, if he loses on Saturday at Okie State, he could then be announced on Sunday or Monday as well.

I'm riding on both wagons now. LoL!!!! Those that say it cannot be done (riding on both), they are flat wrong. I love both candidates. Riley I still love most because he's such a young age (38 or 39 I believe I recall).

I believe there's a NCAA rule stipulating that if Petersen would have been hired/announced before the end of the season, Orgeron would have been out immediately. That could have effected recruiting being a man down.
