It better be because we offered him at least 500k more than Pelini and he still declined.

Seriously. They look like some dogs out there.

I’m serious. Make him say no to 3 million per year.

If we paid Bo 2.3. Let’s open the check book. If we offer 3 and it’s no. Then I’ll live with it.

I suspect it as well. But I’ve yet to see anyone outside of Adam confirm it. Although Sonny didn’t outright deny it out 24/7 either

Here's the part that doesn't add up for me for Freeman: I am not aware of any connections he has to O. Maybe O goes outside his comfort zone but his past hires don't seem to indicate that. The last time he did he got paired with Canada so I just find it hard to believe that he will go with someone not connected to him or Louisiana in some major way.

He wasn’t connected to Brady, Linehan or Pelini either.

Linehan and Pelini were Woodys guys. This is a fact.

So let me get this straight.

All of the good hires are O’s but Canada was Alleva’s and linehan and Pelini were Woodward’s.

Yea sure that’s believable

The cameras have shown Freeman calling the plays like 5 times so far

Showed him in the huddle at a timeout telling everyone what to do as well.

I think Fickell designed and installed the defense but Freeman is running it. Kind of like Kirby at Alabama.

Fickell is a defensive guy. I’m sure he’s very involved in the defensive game planning. However, just because he has a play sheet and is talking on the set doesn’t mean Freeman isn’t making the calls and just running them through the head coach.

Thank you for replying to his nonsense with this. I saw it as well but didn’t care to correct the guy.

Brady was from the Saints and recommended by Ensminger.

Pelini recommended by Carroll and O has known him many years.

Linehan was brought on to secure Nussmeir.

You think with all of Ed’s coaching experience he can’t call some guys who have crossed paths with Freeman?

Read what I initially said. I don't know of any connections he has to Freeman. Do you? I'm not saying it's impossible I'm just saying I don't know of a link connecting the two. I would genuinely like to hear they are connected somehow so if you know how they are connected please share because as I stated before most of O's hires seem to come from prior connections or mentors/peers.

It's a good point but there were several shots where he is surveying the offense himself and then immediately calling in the play without listening to the headset.
