If LSU fired a coach two years after a championship just to hire Mel Tucker, it is indeed a political hire. Be ready for major disappointments as a fan for however long the administration is in office, mainly the president.

The three top coaches they’re looking at seem to all have one thing in common, I’ll let you figure out what that is.

Removal of O was political
A small part. Mostly it was because of the horrible product on the field.

Grow up. Orgeron all but fired himself. He couldn't keep Jr in his pants.

Removal of O was political and you were ok with it

Hiring O was lazy, getting rid of him was common sense.

Tate gave in to Woodward’s demands on the buyout, so what did Tate get in return? Legit question to ponder.

What Scares me is Tate might have some input and on Woodward’s ear! Tate just let Woodward do what he does best !

Almost feels like he’s in his ear! God I hope not make the right hire best for the program!

Your statement is non sequitur. The one is not dependent on the other. Orgeron richly deserves being let go and imo without pay. Maybe Tucker is qualified, maybe he is not.
Franklin's rape fiasco should disqualify him without much, if any, discussion.

The team is likely to lose 5 games in b2b seasons. I am rooting for them to win out though, but O needed to go.
I don't want to replace him with another guy who lost 5 games a season ago and only has 1 full college season on his resume.

Coach O’s firing was political? It was about wins and loses. Nothing more, nothing less.
