with a much better company? In a much better town--near the ocean? In a city that you love and even went to college. In an area where your children spend their formative years? In fact you worked for that company before and thought it would be dreamy to be higher up in the company. was dreamy. They gave you 48 hours to decide. Your family supported you? Remember, more than double your salary, with an agreement for several years. as an added plus, you get to bring your closest co-workers with you.

You'd stay right where you are or go?

If this happened, and you were a flaming a-hole...you'd still be a flaming a-hole.

Most people on this site, myself ESPECIALLY, loathed and despised that POS douchebag from the very beginning.

I don't hate him BECAUSE he went to USC. I hate him, and BTW, he went to USC.

I don't dislike USC and was not one that ever posted any negative about '03, etc.

But, Kiffin is a douche no matter where he is. he just happens to be a douche at USC now

Are you implying USC is not a much better gig than UT?

I don't think USC hired Kiffen as much as they hired the total "coaching package deal" that came with him. If Chow jumps on board, then that is a good staff.

Also, I really despise Kiffen, but I also blame Carrol on this shite. He waited until the last minute to jump to the Seahawks. You mean to tell me that Seattle had no talks with his agent AT ALL after the CFB season? I seriously doubt it. If I was a USC fan, I would be thankful to Carrol, but still pissed at the same time.

yes.

That is a matter of opinion. I do not doubt that Kiffin believes it to be so. Thus, it IS (from his perspective).

I expect USC to have sanctions of some sort, soon. Before Carroll, it was pretty hard sledding.

And, the facilities are sub-standard. The campus is terrific, but in the MIDDLE of a shithole ghetto.

The SEC is a better conference. Fan support? No contest. Tennessee by far.

So, there is room for disagreement.

Nobody is slamming Kiffin for leaving to go to USC. It's a brilliant move. You have less than half the competition of the SEC, instead of playing 8th fiddle in the conference, and 4 or 5 fiddle in your own division, you move to a conference where you can win it every year with great talent and marginal coaching and no championship game. You make more money, your plastic wife also has her social life back, and you move to the land where you were so well thought of that a losing head coaching record is acceptable. Like I said, brilliant move.

Nobody is slamming the move for Kiffin. Everyone is slamming the fact that he is one of the most arrogant douche bags to grace the society of college football coaches, and coaches in general. He's Adam James in 10 years. He's an entitled prick who will get what he deserves over the next 3 years...a probation riddled and mediocre USC.

It's a MUCH better gig if you value a Hollywood lifestyle and little competition in conference. With the coaches and players in the SEC, Kiffin realized he better run for the hills...the Hollywood hills. It's really no contest.

I would go, but I would give notice. Most jobs don't allow the behind the doors activities that you find in coaching. There was a MUCH better way to handle the situation.

I don't know why you're excited about Kiffin anyways. The guy is a classless douchebag.

That just ain't happening. USC is aware of the outcome and it'll be light. You are naive if you believe major universities are not aware of the outcome before they are "officially" told. NCAA interviewed Bush knowing well he would deny. They needed all bases covered prior to wrapping this up. Kiffin was told of the outcome by SC officials and he his right. Other than the loss of 2-3 schollies, it won't affect him at all.

I believe this is true and, in fact, believe that college football is better when USC is strong. I like that.

Your coach is a raging a-hole. I promise, if you check my post history you will see I am very consistent. I've said the the UT fans that I have no issue with them, but as long as Kiffin is coaching there, I wanted UT to be destroyed in every game.
