I laughed out loud, but cried on the inside. You would be a terrific playwright. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Let's shut 'er down, then. No more CC board. TheDoc's sources are without question.
FWIW, I will give you credit where it is due if your assertions come to fruition. No sour grapes from me.

If I am a Texas big money booster, I am PISSED that Mack won't step down and I'd be pushing to get his arse fired.

I imagine Bill Battle and Sexton have had a conversation like this:
Bill: Hey, we'll pay whatever it takes to make Saban happy.
Sexton: He knows. Now let's laugh at Texas for a couple weeks.
The end.

Agreed, but for a different reason. Barely any job OTHER than Texas has been discussed on this motherfricker.

God you are going to look like a fool when Saban stays.

A 30% chance of Mack sticking around is a definitely a change in the narrative. Wasn't pointing fingers at you. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)

Joshua Chamberlin's exit from TD on Election Day 2012 was one of the best moments I've had on TD. The fact that either he believed/others believed what he was saying was so funny. His last post was epic. Troll or misguided...no clue.

He had an entire board convinced Romney had the election in the bag. People will believe what they want to.

Doesn't matter. It was epic.

Nick Saban already knows his leverage, already knows his worth, there is nothing Saban should be waiting on to resolve his contract situation with Alabama.
He would in turn need to wait out on Texas if he was serious about taking the job. Too much smoke around the texas and saban waiting on his hands for there not to be some real feet to this.
I'd put the odds of Saban goign to texas at 60%. It's just fundamentally not sound of why saban and bama hasn't wrapped up a new deal if saban was interested in money and staying.

Well in fairness it was pretty easy to believe considering the state of the economy and that fact that Obama is one of the worst presidents ever.

Chamberlain was right about the election. The real votes were in Romney's favor.

I doubt any AD worth a damn would hang his school out to dry like this.
