If Scott got played this badly and his next play is Mark Stoops or BoB then I think the money guys push him out.

Dude is way to connected to be let go after one fb search. I think he is highly overrated as an AD and the love the guy gets just for spending money is crazy but a bunch of people backing him up for him to be let go now.

If he disobeys his Progressive overlord Tate’s desire to hire a minority, he may be run out by Tate before the boosters even get to make a push. Rest assured, the new AD won’t resemble Woodward.

First and foremost, we have the dumbest fanbase in the history of the world. As an AD, you make an offer through agents. The prospective coach may or may not accept it. That’s all you can do, but you have to have an alternate plan. Considering this is a TITLE IX driven hire adds to the complexity. Nobody knows if LSU will get the institutional control penalty. Just because none of you are thinking about doesn’t mean it can’t or won’t happen. SWW has to not only sell the program but must sell it as damaged and yet have the same high expectations. So that coach has to be willing to put up with that for about 3 years IMO. No bowl season, no extra recruiting, loss of scholarships, etc.
With that, Mark Stoops is a VERY good coach and I wouldn’t be disappointed in the least if he would be hired.

I’m only going by what one of the paid sites said all along, so I could be wrong. Woodward has kept things very quiet and the “Riley is a done deal” rumor was never confirmed, so I’m not going to overreact.

So how exactly is a rumor confirmed? Dellenger pretty much said everyone in the inner circle he knows said it was Riley.

Well that's a scarier version of events, especially if we don't get Aranda or Kiffin (who are unlikely due to contract extensions).
We went all in and will pay an absurd amount for...Matt Campbell? Mark Stoops? Bill O'Brien?
