So Tate is actually going to be a good president and he isn't just some scary black guy pushing "woke" politics?

Color me shocked.

This board couldn’t name 1 thing he’s done and thinks the job of a university president is to support the football team.

We have yet to see what Tate will in terms of establishing a culture and policies that value free speech, merit based rewards, and an migration away from “diversity” innovatives.

But sure. Let’s all immediately give him a passing grade because he didn’t force a minority hire for the sports ball team.

It’s still wait and see with reason for concern based on previous statements made.

Anybody making definitive “ha he’s good” statements is showing their lack of understanding of the scope of the position

Right?
Eat crow Bc the president allowed the AD to do his job! I mean, that’s a great thing but should be expected. Tate still supports CRT per his own writings.

More like he seems extremely competent & in-step with Woodward / is a massive upgrade over King... who btw apparently saw countless scandals under his watch.

But by all means, continue melting because a vested community leader is open about having an interest in uplifting his culture... which happens to include the majority of our student athletes.

You’re more than welcome to define CRT and name the people that have studied it.

“constitutional heritage”
Look this term up.

Try to reverse all things from white to black as well.

Also realize that this is his first year.

If crt has a place in your Heart, then I am jumping out of the conversion right here.

Least if my concerns for a University Pres all things considered.

Welp. There it is. Yeah bro, that’s concerning for a university president. If his desire is to make minority groups perform better compared to their own past performance then good on him. But gtfo if that’s ever been the goal.

Because the bar was so low with the rumors swirling regarding potential meddling, these smoothbrains are acting like this was some big victory.

He is a race hustler that has made a career off of peddling pseudo-science and racism, and he was forced onto LSU last minute by a leftist governor. But let's gaslight people for being opposed to that.

Full disclosure, I don’t subscribe to CRT but I don’t think it’s some harbinger of calamity either.

Let’s acknowledge most people are multi-faceted / shouldn’t be judged on one thing & also that if you and I were black, we’d probably pay more attention to analyses of race-related issues.

It looks like he was a good hire & CRT boogieman has been way overblown.

His performance as president is not what we expected based on his academic career, which was disturbingly obsessed with race. LINK

I think he's done a fine job so far and I'm not as concerned as I once was.

”An interest” = “the goal”? It has been overblown since the second he was announced.

We all know why it was hard for people to accept him at first. Sad, but true.

Personally I do not believe he, in his role as university president should have an interest in performance by race.
