Cristobal is a higher IQ orgeron without personal baggage. lsu would be heavily coordinator dependent. Really don’t want to go down this route again.

Jimbo should have been named head coach when Nick left.
Skip was in his corner but was overruled by the boosters.
They said he didn`t have HC experience which was true.
Jimbo loves LSU had the job in 2015 until AssH`s Jindal
and Alexander got involved. Jimbo`s ability to recruit
is as good as anyone not named Nick.He will be a much
better roster manager than our 2 previous coaches and
has tough nosed teams. The only thing I don`t like is his
offense. Its to antiquated. That will be one of the first
questions he will have to answer.I think he will change
to more of a spread or 3 or 4 wide look at times because
of LSU`s talent in those areas. He would be a very good hire.

Can someone explain to me why he’s leave A&M?

He has no buyout
He has applied for LSU job twice before
He can get better recruits
A&M is about to get screwed when UT joins the SEC
He likes working for Woodward
He can get to the playoffs quicker

I honestly don't think Jimbo would end up being that bad, but there are so much more exciting hires out there

People like you miss Les Miles and his antiquated offense. Thus, you losers want to hire Jimbo Fisher and his antiquated offense.

It won't be Jimbo. If I was forced to lay a huge bet on just one guy. It would be Aranda.

I don't want Jimbo.

I think getting this hire right is essential. I don't think we get another chance. If it doesn't work, we're on the outside looking in in a game that's evolving into the haves and have nots more than ever.

If we hire Jimbo, I think the program is finished off.

LSU: Helped them to a NC
FSU: Playoffs twice. 1 NC, 1 Heisman
A&M: Highest ranking in decades. Beat Saban

I can tell you with certainty, based on my own conversations with people who personally know Jimbo, that he is not leaving ATM. He is not even part of the conversation at this point. He is, however, perfectly happy to let the media continue to talk about it while he quietly goes about putting together what will probably be the best recruiting class ATM has ever signed.

I would love to have Jimbo at LSU because taking him would decimate ATM for the foreseeable future, but it’s not happening. You can stop discussing it. I know what Bruce Feldman is saying. He’s just screwing with Aggies. The Jimbo ship has sailed.

We had another poster on here saying he knew Jimbo personally and he was definitely coming

Seems like one (or both) of you is lying

Yeah. I mean Jimbo is a better coach than Orgeron.. obviously.

But he's about as exciting a pick as a wet paper towel..

Agree that I would prefer a higher ceiling/lower floor type guy. Aranda or Napier would be better hires IMO. but they may not turn out to be better coaches.

Jimbo still has to play Auburn and Ole Miss. If he wins those, I hope he destroys us then skips the flight back and is named our head coach the next day. If he loses another game this season, he’s dead to me.
