I don’t get it. If it IS Riley why are we excited about the guy who built Chokelahoma?!?

We’ve always said that Oklahoma was perennially over rated, played in an undwerwhelming Big 12, never played defense, and yes…offense was sexy but they wilted anytime they played serious (aka SEC) competition…including LSU. We smoked Riley….but now we’re excited that he’s bringing that Chokelahoma mentality to LSU? Offense will be great…but you know who else has great offense?!? Pretty much everyone else too…it’s how the game is played these days. Even Saban can’t stop teams from putting up yards. I never had Riley in my top 3 for those reasons ….personally think the Aranda/Herman combo would have been better. But if this is truly happening then Yall better not be on here whining about how LSU doesn’t play defense anymore.

These are not binary fool. I said Saban also has games where he can’t stop teams from putting up yards. But the best teams have always been balanced. Riley’s OU teams have never been known for balance on defense.

2019 LSU would smoke a lot of people. The amount of talent on that team was ridiculous and made a lot of elite coaches look stupid. In addition to Riley we smoked 3 coaches with national championships under their belt.

Look at who the last 2 head coaches for LSU have been. One was an absolute perverted moron. The other was a goofball whose off the field antics affected his on the field results. Both won a national title here. What do you think a guy like Riley will be able to accomplish? With Louisiana recruits!!?!??
