I agree with those who say we already have our coach

I’ve seen some say SW hired our coach already. This seems the most likely scenario to me because SW knows that several openings will occur at the end of the season so avoid competing with other schools by securing a coach earlier.

I’m curious how that works if it’s a coach that already is under contract? Is it just a handshake deal or does he sign a letter of intent?
I just wonder if they agreed to it a month ago and the coach gets cold feet what are the repercussions

I think there has to be a level of trust that existed before the agreement. Probably can’t sign contracts but if you know each party is trustworthy you can go with a verbal. But I’m not a lawyer so maybe post dated contracts are legal.
