Damn I hope you're right. One rumor I heard was Kirby Smart for HC and Freeze would be OC. I wouldn't mind that one bit.

I don't see Freeze leaving ASU for a coordinators job.
If it is him he better pony up to get Larry Porter to recruit.

We shouldnt pay freeze over 1.8 so that should leave us plenty for assistants.

But as far as a where we were standing a few days ago, it looked very likely that Smart would be the HC and Freeze the OC.
I do know that Freeze and his wife want to be in Oxford BAD. I'd be willing to say that we could pay him enough to be here as an OC and him wait for Smart to, hopefully, leave for better job in a few years.

truth. Not sure if he's completed it yet but he was going through the NCAA certification process to try and recruit for us.
Ronnie Heard has been on the recruiting trail as an interim coach(already a UMAA employee). Duece isn't as of yet to him recruiting for us is a bit sketchy until he gets NCAA clearance/eligibility/whatever.

Well that would be cool, sounds like he would take a pay cut to get back. I just hope we don't squeeze Gunter out because he should be a key piece to any new staff.

Highly unlikely that Freeze leaves a 10 win team to go be an offensive coordinator. He can get a better head coaching job in the next couple of years if he sticks it out in Jonesboro.

If he ends up the next HC at Ole Miss then I will be really disappointed in Ole Miss. If he was the OC, then fine. But HC....I'm sorry, but I just wouldn't have any faith in Ole Miss at that point.
