It's more of a risk taking Napier over Riley in my opinion. And a big, probably the biggest reason Brady got all the hero worship here at LSU was Joe Burrow, Jefferson, Chase, etc. He came into the program the year Burrow was going to blow up. ... Look at Curly Hallman who had Bett Farve at USM making even Hallman look brilliant. He wasn't.

Bottom line is this, Riley is a proven head coach who you know will put an outstanding offense on the field and consistently bring in QB talent and turn them into great players. His only question mark is defense, but could that be a lack of consistent talent on that side of the ball? Anyone who thinks OU has the same level of talent on defense as LSU is insane. It’s just not true. We honestly have more talent on offense at the skill positions than they do as well, they’re just well coached and are coached by an offensive genius. I’d rather that with a small chance his defensive woes would follow than see them hire Napier.

Everything with Napier is a risk. He’s never ran a major program at the power 5 level. His offenses are frankly not that impressive. There’s no guarantee he’ll produce better defenses than any other coach because that isn’t his expertise either. The guy doesn’t a have a guarantee like Riley does. Riley is absolutely going to produce premier offenses.

So, to answer your original question, I believe Riley would produce far better results than Napier. He has already built in advantages and to be honest, I don’t get the buzz around Napier at all. It’s pretty baffling what about his resume is impressive other than he’s winning at ULL. Those are my thoughts and opinions.

It's pretty funny that you call me stupid when you think that Woodward would hire Lane Kiffin. The guy is a cancer to football programs and has the maturity of a 16 year old. It's laughable that anyone would think the guy is a candidate. I'm not sure why you picked Kiffin to troll with, but you could have at least picked a serious candidate for the job.

Okay stupid, make the case for a better candidate out of the list of available candidates. Good luck, moron.

Okay how? How does someone with the maturity of a 16 year old coach an Alabama's offense to a Natty in 2015?

How does someone with the maturity of a 16 year old parlay a very successful head coaching run at Florida Atlanta into his now far better gig at Ole Miss?

How does someone with he maturity of a 16 year old transform that train wreck in Oxford, MS into a contender in the SEC West in less than two years? Not to mention that no other head coach has done a better job relative to Lane Kiffin in the SEC.

Go ahead, fill me and everybody else in on that while you are at it would you?

There is nothing in the least laughable about Lane Kiffin easily being by far the best qualified candidate by a mile to become the next head football head coach of LSU.

quote:

I'm not sure why you picked Kiffin

Obviously, I picked Kiffin because he is by far the best candidate of all the other candidates on the list to be the next head football coach at LSU.

As for as being a serious candidate is concerned, there isn't another candidate on the list more serious about becoming the next head football coach at LSU other than Lane Kiffin.

What? You think he is just joking or something?

Lincoln Riley may be proven in the second-rate Big 12 conference playing against second-rate competition and intentionally running up the scores to pad his QB's numbers against the second-rate competition he played against while at the same time always consistently having a piss poor defense.

The SEC is a whole different animal. As no way will Riley be able run up the scores on his SEC opponents as he did intentionally to pad his QB's numbers when he was in the second-rate Big 12. Moreover, a head coach like Riley who always consistently has piss poor defenses would inevitably be a dismal failure in the SEC.

Thus, how is it justifiable, in your utterly unhinged mind, to pay someone like Lincoln Riley at least 12 or more million dollars a year, when LSU could easily hire Lane Kiffin, who is not only a better offensive coach relative to Lincoln Riley, but who is also a proven SEC head coach, for half or less than half the amount it would take to compensate an inevitable dud like Lincoln Riley?

Do us a favor, put down the damn crack pipe.

You have posters of him up on your wall that you fap to don't you?

That's a long list and the reasons they are better candidates are pretty obvious. You can't see those reasons, so I'm not going to waste the time typing them out.

quote:

How does someone with the maturity of a 16 year old coach an Alabama's offense to a Natty in 2015?

Because he was kept on a leash by Saban the entirety of his tenure there. Can he coach offense? Absolutely. He doesn't need to be running a program though because he lets his emotions coach for him.

quote:

How does someone with the maturity of a 16 year old parlay a very successful head coaching run at Florida Atlanta into his now far better gig at Ole Miss?

I never said he couldn't win games. He can. That doesn't change the fact that he is a whiny bitch who takes things way to personally and will eventually let his ego lead him to failure.

They're not a contender yet. They got blown out by Bama and lost handily to Auburn. Those would be the only good teams they've really played this year and they lost both. They'll probably drop the game to ATM and possibly Miss. State. Will they be contenders then?

quote:

Cool. He can be as serious as he wants, but the bottom line is that he will never be the coach at LSU because of his personality and immaturity as a person. The guys ego always comes first.

With that said, I'm done arguing with you about it. You can hope all you want that he's the next coach but it's not going to happen. You might want to just go be an Ole Miss fan if you really love Lane this much.

I knew you couldn't. Meanwhile, Lane Kiffin is the no brainer choice to become the next LSU football program.

You are unhinged. He not only parlayed a very successful head coach run at Florida Atlantic into his far better gig at Ole Miss, but he also morphed that train wreck in Oxford into a contender in the SEC West in less than two years. In fact, no other head coach in the SEC has done a better head coaching job this season than Lane Kiffin. Go ahead, genius, prove me wrong.

quote:

I never said he couldn't win games. He can. That doesn't change the fact that he is a whiny bitch who takes things way to personally and will eventually let his ego lead him to failure.

You said Lane Kiffin is as immature as a 16 year old kid. Hence, explain how he coached Alabama's offense to a Natty in 2015. Then explain how an immature 16 year old had a successful head coaching run at Florida Atlanta which led to his current gig at Ole Miss. Now explain how a head coach who is as immature as a 16 year old kid, according to you, could turn that basket case in Oxford, MS into a SEC West contender in only his second season? Go ahead, loon, make my day!

quote:

They're not a contender yet. They got blown out by Bama and lost handily to Auburn. Those would be the only good teams they've really played this year and they lost both. They'll probably drop the game to ATM and possibly Miss. State. Will they be contenders then?

They are 7 & 2. You are full of yourself and little more than a mental incompetent.

To the contrary, it's a no brainer that he has a far better chance to become the next head coach at LSU relative to your poster boy Lincoln Riley.

I mean, how is Lincoln Riley, with his consistently piss poor defenses, somehow worth LSU forking out 12 million dollars or more a year, when Lane Kiffin, who is a far better coach relative to Riley and who is also already a proven coach in the SEC, is available for only 6 million dollars a year? Give me a break? Did your dumb mother drop you on your head when you were a little baby?

Moreover, there isn't a damn thing wrong with Lane Kiffin's personality or his incredible sense of humor.

quote:

With that said, I'm done arguing with you about it. You can hope all you want that he's the next coach but it's not going to happen. You might want to just go be an Ole Miss fan if you really love Lane this much.

I don't blame you. If I got my arse handed to me consistently like you did, I'd stop also, and no, Lincoln Riley, your poster boy, is just a pipe dream of the delusional portion of the LSU fan base. Thank God Scott Woodward isn't anywhere nearly as mentally deficient as you are.

You could say the same thing about Napier, he gets his hands on better players and he looks better. Riley has a big time team and his defenses always are poor and he has the tools available to recruit better players.

It’s like you’re stuck on repeat. Are you getting paid to troll and type the same things over and over? Kind of seems that way because you’ve said this about 35 times over the past week.

That doesn’t make any sense. Calling me mentally incompetent while not being able to formulate complete sentences is ironic.

Have you watched Ole Miss play defense this year? They’re pretty damn terrible.

Seems stalker level creepy when you bring up his incredible sense of humor. Does he know you’re looking through his windows?

I beseech someone like you to please explain to me how paying Lincoln Riley, who consistently always has a piss poor defense and who is totally unproven in the SEC, is worth paying 12 million dollars or more per year. When Lane Kiffin, who is not only a better offensive coach but also already proven in the SEC, can be hired for about half as much?

I mean, what has Lane Kiffin done that is so awful that it disqualifies him from being the next head coach of LSU? Has he raped someone, slit someone's throat, robbed a bank, got caught running a pyramid scheme? What did Lane Kiffin do that disqualifies him from being the next head football coach of LSU?

Nothing, not a damn thing. As Lane Kiffin is your next LSU head coach folks. It's a no brainer. Stop speculating. It's all over but the crying.

It’s not that I can’t, I just don’t want to list all the reasons I think they’re better than Kiffin.

Let's put all the cards on the table and be perfectly honest shall we? You can't.

quote:

Kind of seems that way because you’ve said this about 35 times over the past week.

When you keep saying the same idiotic things over and over again without any supporting evidence whatsoever that will validate any of the garbage you are spewing, well I'm going to continue saying the same things over and over again until you are blue in the face. Because you know why? Because Lane Kiffin's record of success is irrefutable and also because I know you don't want to hear it. I mean Lane Kiffin's record of success, despite your denials, speaks for itself. It's also the fundamental reason why he is far more qualified to become the next head coach at LSU relative to a loon like Lincoln Riley.

quote:

That doesn’t make any sense. Calling me mentally incompetent while not being able to formulate complete sentences is ironic.

There is nothing wrong with that sentence and it is indeed, the truth.

quote:

Have you watched Ole Miss play defense this year? They’re pretty damn terrible.

You damn right I did. I watched Lane Kiffin's defense completely shut down LSU's offense when LSU thought they were going to run all over Ole Miss like LSU did the week before against Florida.

quote:

You’re bringing this type of shite out over a disagreement about a football coach. Pretty sad response. What a jack arse.

I'm just stating the obvious dude. As you are obviously severely mentally deficient and I was just speculating as to what I though might be the cause.

quote:

You’re just spouting nonsense because you’re a troll that is pretty easy to get stirred up apparently.

Go back and re-read all the posts dude. If I were you, I wouldn't think it is funny. I would instead perceive it as getting my arse handed to me big time.

quote:

Will you still think that when he doesn’t hire Lane? Because I hate to break it to you, he’s not going to. So, would that make Woodward a dumb arse as well?

There is only one thing that is a sure thing and that is the unequivocal fact that Woodward will never hire Lincoln Riley with his consistently bad defenses and who is completely unproven in the SEC and pay him 12 or more million dollars a year. Not when Lane Kiffin, who is a far better offensive coach relative to Riley and who is already a proven coach in the SEC, is available for only half as much.

People like you will never understand it's about projection.

Riley has the best winning percentage among all active coaches I believe.

He is at OU, not LSU. It is still a challenge to get defensive talent out to OU.

He gets great QBs, because he is known as a QB developer and offensive genius. How can you be against that at LSU after you saw what Burrow did? How? Honestly LSU probably pulls in more overall offensive talent than OU. However he gets the elite QBs and does more with them than most.

Kliff Kingsbury is very similar in terms of offensive brilliance and he was known for horrible defenses at freaking Texas Tech, but look at him in the NFL now.

So you rather not have a HC that absolutely locks down elite play on one side of the ball and only has to hit on the other? And would have much better opportunity hitting on that side of the ball at a school known for pulling in elite, absolute filthy elite defensive talent.

I just don't see how anyone can be against. It's insane. Especially after that shite we saw against Bama just this past Saturday.

quote:

Not when Lane Kiffin, who is a far better offensive coach relative to Riley and who is already a proven coach in the SEC, is available for only half as much.

How is Lane Kiffin a better offensive coach? Exactly what has he proven in the SEC? Lane Kiffin even got beat by LSU's worst team last year, no?

I am very up and down on Kiffin. I didn't like him, then I did, and now I don't again. He has made some really reckless decisions this season.

Consider this, any of the players on the Oklahoma team can play at any SEC school, most are recruited by said schools. NOT ONE player on ULL's team is recruited by an SEC or Big 12 school. So consider what the coaches are doing with their respective talent level and assistant coaches class. What Napier has done at ULL is very impressive considering the pool of players and assistant coaches he can get to such a small school. Give him top tier talent and higher-tiered assistants and I believe he is successful. Riley has recruited well, but his defenses have been horrible, and this is not gonna fly in the SEC!
