Nick Saban was on to something when he got here and within half a season labeled our fan base as having catastrophe syndrome.

Call it what you want. I think its foolish if you think this wouldn't happen. Some of you need to get your heads out your asses.

College coaching contracts are worthless pieces of paper. Head coaches and asst coaches can break their contracts but must pay any buyouts written within said contracts. Colleges dont enforce their contracts and ask the coaches to stay snd fulfill their terms. In the NFL teams cannot tamper with other teams players or coaches without first getting permission. The NCAA has no sych rule at the college level. If Peetz and Mangas want to leave tonorrow for the NFL they are gone.

Why the hell not? If the correct provisions were put in there (and maybe they were, that was my question) they could be made to stay or at least pay a prohibitive buyout. Those were very lucrative contracts we gave them. LSU was in a bargaining position to demand some favorable terms.

Can we pin this topic to the top or start deleting these posts after they come out.

Every day, at least 3 times a day, I see a new post about this same topic.

At this point it would not surprise me that both will be gone. Either with Brady to the Falcons or Carolina may offer them the OC position. This would be exactly something that would happen. To Orgeron and LSU

There’s that Louisiana fatalism.

LSU fans are calling Coach o an idiot and low IQ...man, get behind your team or find a new team. We will never keep a good coach if the fans don't stop the nonsense.

And yet another Paranoid Schizo Thought Control Gestapo Cop emreges from the depths trying to tell everybody to STFU.

Only Sun Pump Nut opinions wanted, huh?

We be losing coaches because LSU fans on the internet are mean. Amirite?

Plenty of other coaches out there. If shite happens

This type of thinking is why Orgeron has whiffed on every hire except Brady, who he wasn't even directly responsible for.

So the fans being skeptical and concerned about the situation (should it happen) is warranted.

It appears that Joe Brady is about to get the Falcons job. What happens if he comes after Peetz and Mangas for his staff? I am sure that LSU saw this coming. Did we put anything in their contracts to prevent them from jumping ship right away?

Look at this way- why did Brady want them to leave the nest? If the purpose of this is for both Peetz and Mangas to learn more about running an offense, why would Brady immediately hire them away before they do? He knew he was about to get head coach interviews before all of this.

Joe will definitely call his own plays on offense so he could hire a veteran OC to be in charge of game planning and situational management. He will hand the defense over to a veteran DC and tell them to run with it. If Peetz and Mangas lights it up next year he could very well poach them the year after for positions on his staff.

Yeah I don’t understand the drama here, if Joe Brady was going to take Peetz and Mangas with him to another team then I don’t think he tells O those are the guys he should hire at LSU knowing he’s possibly going to be taking interviews as HC. Makes no sense!
