Anyone have any actual qoutes or anything or is this just speculation/hearsay? IMO we need an a-hole on the sidelines to balance out leslie anyways.

Also, assuming miles was about to go to Michigan w/ tenuta as DC, how would miles staying at LSU be "burning the bridge"? would tenuta have been pissed at miles for it?

When players screw up he jumps their arse instead of giving them a hug.

I think his abrasiveness is with other coaches on staff, not the players

Not afraid to call coaches out for doing stupid shite, which on our staff would present ample opportunity.

I don't know either, but the speculation on the rant is high comedy

His abrasiveness apparently caries over into the office. It's easy for one of us to sit back and say "screw that, we need an a hole", but the coaches are the ones spending 80+ hours a week with each other.

You can find someone out there who can get it done that isn't miserable to work with.

lol yall missed the entire point of the thread. i asked for an actual example of any conflict he's had with a coach or anything, and no one can provide one. this is message board bs. someone posts something about hearing he was as a-hole from the waterboys exgirlfriend's cousin and eventually everyone on the board knows for a fact that he is a raging lunatic. Im sure thats why charlie weiss hired him.

how ranttanstic.

I think the term "abrasive" means "over qualified" or "not a freakin' douchebag that would give up 50 points a game in all of our big games".

...and this would of course be the reason no one but Weiss at ND - and bringing him to ND was more by default than anything else - beat down Tenuta's door begging for interviews, eh?

Now that fact makes some real

So is it bs that he was a highly qualified candidate for a DC position last year that noone wanted? is he not just coaching LB's at Notre Dame?

There isn't going to be a specific example, but Tenuta being a dick came out from several places last year when he was looking for a job. Just because you read it on the rant doesn't mean it was a rumor that was conceived there.

maybe he thinks weiss will be shitcanned and wants to be in position for the ND dc job?

or since leaving his former job was not his choice, wanted to get a temporary job until a DC spot at a big name program became available instead of a lateral move?

once again, no one has anything to offer but conjecture

I would be shocked if that happened. I think Notre Dame would through the freaking sink at Saban, Meyer, or some high profile NFL coach.

most likely. I honestly think he was just looking for a paycheck at a high profile job until an attractive opening came up.
