I'm pretty sure it was reported a couple weeks after USC fired what's-his-name, Helton, that Franklin fired his agent and hired Jimmy Sexton. And that apparently really happened and was not just hearsay.
So maybe Franklin was angling for a raise the whole time.

If everybody thinks he’s got a guy in the works and it’s not drawing attention to the guy he truly has in the works ...... well then that’s a win.

Nobody on this entire board knew he was going to usc. It’s all smoke.
The reason LSU hasn’t announced is bc the guy is still coaching and doesn’t want it announced to their season is over.
I’d bet any amount of money on it.

No, but it means that there's nowhere for the richest boosters to go and get a bunch of love for sharing tidbits to the plebs. Much easier to keep things under wraps when the people you're forced to tell don't have much incentive to leak things.
