My niece was sitting next to him at the Memphis airport today. He was on her flight to Atlanta. Listening to his phone conversation, it sounded like he doesn't know what's going to happen...not yet.

No doubt, I wouldn't be in a rush. I'd be spending some time drinking iced tea with Diana. I was just curious about why he would be flying to Atlanta. He probably just had a connecting flight out.

This is probably true. I really could see him taking the Memphis job if offered. I just don't know if they would make him an offer.

this shouldn't be about headlines. it should be about getting the best coach they can. they need someone hungry who can be a long term solution.
nutt may have 1 or 2 good years, but his act isn't going to work in the long term. they will just be looking for a new coach in a few more years if they hire him.
