Makes sense. Lane doesn't want this to frick up his season this year and LSU is willing to wait for him.

All of this sound good, but I don't believe it...Not saying that you're "sources" are wrong regarding the targets. I just hope we have a backup plan(s) because these seem like pipe dreams.

I was told again today LSU was given a number on Nick Saban from Sexton. They didn’t say no.
Again the chances of this happening are very very slim due to age and his pure “want” to coach again but there is a legit offer out there.
Never say Never.
Sexton gave LSU a number it would take? If there is a number he would take the “want” seems to be there, unless it’s just a money grab, which wouldn’t seem likely, based on Saban’s financial situation.

You have no real news because it is still early. Still in the info gathering mode on a lot of coaches. LSU hasn’t even narrowed down their list yet.
