They are just straight up making shite up at this point, then doubling down on stupid. It's not even an argument worth making.

We enjoy looking at the entire resume of our candidates. We can do the same for O if you are feeling left out?

Not discounting Coach O's proven ability of being an asset. Yes has been around successful programs. But that doesn't equate over to being successful as a HC. Look at Kiffin. Great OC, terrible HC. Shula. Terrible HC, good OC. Look at one of the stoops brothers as well. And what are his accomplishments? A sfanford win after the pat Haden bs. His ability to play to himself to perfection on the Blind Side?

Do you hire him based solely on his first season? Do you look at his overall body of work with more emphasis on what has occurred more recently?

shite, you're not even doing that. You're looking at his POSSIBLE record. You're using the assumption he loses the rest of his games this season as part of your rational for not wanting him to be head coach.

Not only has he "been around"--but in his last two stints in the role of head coach at USC and LSU (so far)-- he has been a successful head coach.

He deserves some credit for turning those teams around mid-season-- and not just a passing "he has been around some successful teams". Sure it is not the only test-- but shouldn't being successful in the exact role-- HC OF LSU-- count for something?

sure, it counts for something. But it doesn't even come remotely close to surpassing what Jimbo has done at FSU, or even his time with LSU alone.

Your opinion is duly noted. My opinion is that O's recent success surpasses Jimbo while at LSU, but does not surpass Jimbo at FSU.

Don't blame other people for you regurgitating factually incorrect information. You saw something you liked and ran with it, truth be damned.

That is on YOU.

so you just ran with something you saw on here and didn't really look into at all?

Tom Herman was the first coach to defeat FSU in over 57 years!

Coach O would just be another Miles

Why go for that? Sure he's not as stubborn now..

We will have success regardless but most likely a ceiling

Would prefer an above avg HC

If not then sure

We've beaten one team with a winning record, and have been shutout. Yet, people want to give him all the credit for the offense in the wins, but no responsibility for the loss/shutout.

I don't get it.
