There’s nothing safe about Ensminger. And what makes you think he won’t have a buyout?

You’re implying that a lesson has been taught before, and we just didn’t get it. Help us out here. What lesson?

Canada was average and the fan base still sided with him over O

O stabbed Miles in the back? What? Miles got himself fired. Period. Canada was doing nothing special. It was the most predictable offense in college football, at any level. How many jet screens were actually successful? A dozen? How many got completely blown up? It was literally Miles offense with jet sweeps / useless lotion stapled to it.
From reports, other candidates were looked at and shot down by the board. I would rather them promote a safe choice instead of hiring a medicore, overrated (see Canada) OC that they will replace with someone better next year without having to pay buyout money (see Canada) again.
This right here is what's wrong with our fans. You think that Ensminger being a safe choice solidifies you as a moron. This is the O cronies already rationalizing the Ensminger hire like it's something to be fricking proud of.

I'm so confused why you would even give Sullivan the title of "Co-OC" that I don't have it in me yet to even be upset about Ensminger.

And Canada’s offense was neutered from very early on. There was rumblings from early in the year that Canada wasn’t going to be back after year one. O stifled the offense almost from the beginning.

that's literally how O ended up with this job after he stabbed Miles in the back and politicked his way to the big payday
Ensminger is no threat
Exactly.

The Usurper will always believe he is about to get stabbed in the back.
O led a coup and is now worried about a coup against him.

I had to google Sullivan to see who the hell he was. In his 47 years as a coach he has been an OC for 1 of those years - 2003 with the Arizona Cardinals. And, you guessed it, that year they scored the least amount of points in the NFL and went 4-12

Great position coach!
Not my OC
Not my OC

I guess if there is one silver lining is that O won't meddle with Ensminger/Sullivan's offense. Atleast that is an improvement, I guess?

That’s the thing I don’t get. If he brings in an OC people like, he’s buying himself at least another year if the wheels come off. Doing this gives him one year and if it doesn’t work he’s got to out.

How did he lead a coup against a coach that was on the verge of getting fired for 2 years?

What talent did he have to work with? Arizona hasn't exactly been a success story over the long haul.

And I laughed at the Herm Edwards hire.
We've made that look like the smartest hire in football history.
